Another Exhausted Day
April 15th, 2008 | by admin |Sorry for not updating my blog for nearly 5 days! It was because I was busy preparing my exam on psychiatry on Monday. For psychiatry, the more I study, the more I feel like I’m one of them. It is interesting to read, but very hard to memorize it. Anyway, the exam was over, but 5 more to go!
Yesterday, we started our very new cycle, called Clinical Pharmacology. Actually this is not new to us, because we had general pharmacology 2 years back. So for this, we just try to refresh our knowledge on Pharmacology and learn new skills on how to prescribe concrete drugs for each individual patient. Each patient requires specific drugs regimen, doses and route of administration. So I can say that it is interesting but HARD!
The class is held at one of the nearest hospital (15 minutes walk). So we prepared ourselves early and walked to there by ‘bus no.11” (the cheapest bus you can get here, because it is free). We reached there at 8.50am, and try to search for our classroom. Our instructor is Lecturer also Professor of the Department. The class start at 9.30am, so actually we reached there too early.
1st day, we have our case history taking, patient interview and some general information about clinical pharmacology. And on very 1st day, we were scolded for twice! Of course because of our small mistakes, anyway this make us feel like more refreshing and more energetic!
We finished our class at 12.30pm and straight away take the trolleybus to bus terminal, because we need to go psychiatry hospital for exam and the bus left at 1pm to Iskra (the psychiatry hospital).
The exam finished at 2.30pm, too bad that we are late for several minutes. The bus just left! And we got to wait for another round which was 40 minutes later. What to do? We just waited under rain and cold wind! We had our discussion, pretty interesting one. I think I’m going to share with you all later tonight in another post. So stay tuned!
Whole day, running here and there! Really an exhausted day!
