~Finale~ Psychiatry

Today is our last class of psychiatry, it suppose to be tomorrow; but we requested the day off from our teacher and she kindly approved it maybe she scared we will have psychiatric disorders if she didn’t.

Last night, I was busy preparing my case history for my patient and also busy preparing for the test today. So that’s why I didn’t update my blog here.

Yesterday,  our discussion topic was Alcohol abuse, we discussed syndroms, and psychic disorders caused by alcohol.

Today, teacher told us about 1 patient, he is super talented, clever, outstanding since young, and during 1st year in University, he is able to conduct experiment on his own, and so on. But, he got psychosis afterthat, he was sent to psychiatry hospital for treatment for 6 months, and then discharged and rest at home. This year, he continue his studies with new group of students. He looks normal like before, 2 days before he cut one of his groupmate’s neck, he said all his groupmates laugh at him. The one who got cut, is now under urgent treatment at hospital and condition is favorable. Polices found out his note, stating that he will kill all his groupmates by all different ways. Too BAD. He was excellent student which only excellent marks in his record book.

So what i want to say here, BEWARE of EXTRA-TALENTED people.. Their psychic maybe unstable…. Haha kidding..
