Spring Day Celebration

March 9th, 2008 | by admin |

Today is a day celebrated by all Russian in Kursk conjunction with the arrival of Spring, it is held at Red Square, Kursk.

A temporary stage was built for the perfomances. Lots of perfomances include jokes, stories, dances, songs and others. A team of MCs was there to cheer up the audiences. They all wearing traditional costumes. They looks so beautiful, i mean the clothes.

Besides that, there are stalls selling foods, decorative items, balloons, shasliks (Barbequed Meat), matroska (Russian dolls) and others. I bought 1 kg of shaslik, they tasted soo nice! Eat it with bread or rice, add some tomato sauce, yummY!

I spent almost 1 hour at there. Lots of children playing around and all of them— HAPPY!
